The Alumni Association's Board of Directors is taking nominations for an open director position for the 2017-2019 term.

Potential nominees should: demonstrate service and leadership; display a strong understanding and commitment to the mission of the Alumni Association; and be dedicated to the advancement of the College, its students and the pharmacy profession.

 Board members are responsible for: ensuring compliance with the bylaws; serving a two-year renewable term, subject to term limits, per the bylaws of the Alumni Association; making an annual financial contribution, within member's respective means, to the College; be knowledgeable about the College, its current programs and status, future vision, and direction; attending at least 75% of board meetings, preparing for agenda items and issues, and studying supporting materials; participating in at least one board committee; encouraging attendance at Reunion and other alumni events both locally and regionally; representing the interests of everyone served by the association, without favoring any special interests; acting as an advocate for the association and the College; identifying, cultivating and recruiting future leaders for the Alumni Association; and accepting leadership positions and other special assignments when asked.

Nominations will be collected from the alumni community through Monday, March 13 at 4 p.m. using the online form below. Nominations can also be submitted via mail to Alumni Relations, 4588 Parkview Pl., St. Louis, MO 63110 but must be received by March 13. Nominees will be notified March 14 and asked to submit a bio form. All alumni whose email address we have on file will be invited to vote on the nominees. Those receiving the most votes will be interviewed by the board's governance committee who will make the final decision. Questions?
